Cape Town International Airport (CPT) currently has five terminals - International Arrivals, International Departures, Domestic Arrivals, Domestic Departures with South African Airways and Domestic Departures with other airlines.

The airport terminals have seen major upgrading in the last few years, with a new International Arrivals terminal opened in March 2001 and a newly refurbished, R120-million International Departures terminal opened in February 2003.

A short-term project to temporarily upgrade the domestic terminals was completed in May 2003 and a long-term project to further improve these terminals is currently underway.

Cape Town International Airport (CPT) Terminal Information
Cape Town International Airport has five terminals, all within easy walking distance of one another:

CPT International Arrivals Terminal - is used by all South African Airways and foreign airlines flights arriving from international destinations.
CPT International Departures Terminal - is used by all South African Airways and foreign airlines flights travelling to international destinations.
CPT Domestic Arrivals Terminal - is used by all South African Airways and foreign airlines flights arriving from domestic destinations.
CPT Domestic Departures SAA Terminal - is used by all South African Airways flights travelling to domestic destinations.
CPT Domestic Departures Other Airlines Terminal - is used by all foreign airlines flights travelling to domestic destinations.

The terminals lie adjacent to one another in a long line on the main airport thoroughfare. They are easily located due to this straightforward arrangement and are in easy walking distance of one another.
